She was predeceased by: her parents, Rush Reed and Lennie Reed (Smith); and her siblings, William Jefferson Reed, Alfred Reed, Lafayette Reed, Benton Reed, Walter Reed, Infant Charlie Reed, Anna June Baker, Jemima Varney, Ida Lorenz, Hester Hunt and Mary Jane Reynolds.

She is survived by: her husband James Luther Liles; her children, Kevin Liles (Melissa) of Charlotte and Teresa Roberson (Jerry) of Charlotte; and her grandchildren, Jerry Lyn Roberson (Sandy), Michael Scott Liles (Jessica), Eric Donald Liles (Christina), Adam Kent Liles, Amber Cook, Jeff Langston, Trevor Langston and Mike Shaw. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
