He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Brewer and Audie Rawlings Brewer; his wife Ida Mae Crabtree Brewer; and his grandson Trevor Walling. He is survived by: his children, Mitchel Brewer, Janny of Cave City, Sheila Daigle, Rory of Batesville, Miranda Walling and Reggie of Cave City; his grandchildren, Mark Rose (Kristin), Jennifer Verkler (Jason), Jonas Anderson (Jessica), Joanna Appleget (Tim) and Lucas Walling; and his great grandchildren, Jean Rose, Joshua Rose, Tristin Hart, Garistin Ward, Andrew Verkler, Ashlee Verkler, Austin Verkler, Julian Anderson, Jasper Anderson and Nixon Appleget.
He made several trips to Belgium, with John Giese, Leon Adams and James Landers, working for the Rawlings Foundation to renovate a castle so it could be used for a Seminary and Bible Camp.
