He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Aaron Gentry and Thelma Irene Gentry (Thomas); and his wife Arlene Gentry (Collins). He is survived by: his children, Cliff Gentry of Pineville, Louisiana, Brenda Stotelmyer (David) of Cave City, Reba Gray (Joel) of Sherwood and Marie Gentry of Elyria, Ohio; and his sisters, Juanita Spruill (Phil) of Benton and Dorothy Gentry of Benton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to First Baptist Church Cave City Mission Fund, 112 N. Main Street, Cave City, AR 72521.
