She was predeceased by: her parents, Ranzy House and Bertha Huffman House; her husband Melvin Light; her children, Danny Leo Light, Dora Lee Light and Winston Ray Light; and her siblings, Dennis House, Junior House, Tilda Henry and Lorene Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Ladell Light of Cave City, Michael Light of Batesville, Doris Hightower of Southside and Jean Buckner of Yukon, OK; and her brothers, Cloyce House (Brenda) of Black Rock and Conrad House (Sharon) of Hernando, MS. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many other friends.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Stranger's Home Cemetery.
