It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Gene Johnston of Cave City, Arkansas, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Johnston and Vera Reed Johnston; and his brother Bruce Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnston; his son Jay Johnston of Horseshoe Bend; his stepson Chris Stewart (Caira) of Southside; his siblings, Velton Johnston of Alaska and Melissa Cooper of Melbourne; his grandchildren, Jamie Johnston of Horseshoe Bend and Conner Johnston of Horseshoe Bend; and his stepgrandchildren, Michael Thomas Stewart of Southside and Allison Elizabeth Stewart of Southside. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
