He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Howell. He is survived by: his mother Vivian Kissinger Howell of Cave City; his wife Debbie Girtman Howell; his children, Chris Howell (Chelsey) of Violet Hill, Candice Thorne (Brad) of Cave City and Katie Beth Lockhart (Nicholas) of Odessa, Missouri; his siblings, Kenny Howell (Shelly) of Cave City, Tim Howell (Mary Ann) of Cave City and Debbie Duncan (Jerry) of Conway; and his grandchildren, Georgie Claire Thorne, Hazel Thorne, Emmie Thorne, Henry Lockhart, Harrison Lockhart and Gus Howell. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
