He was predeceased by: his son Roger Douglas; and his siblings, Virgie Clem, Marie Ward, Pansy Pruett, Nina Harp and Joseph Emerson Bennett, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean Ketchem; his sister Betty Voyles of Walnut Ridge; his grandchildren, Chelsea L. Bennett of Tennessee and Jordan Bennett (Jessica) of Georgia; his great grandchild Willa of Georgia; and his daughter-in-law Debbie Bennett of Georgia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of special friends.
