He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arden and Ella Parthenia Perkey; his wife Della Hutchison Perkey; his son Randy Perkey; and his siblings, Delmos Perkey, Corbitt Perkey, Jerry Perkey, Virginia Beasley, Willene Ray and Carrie Perkey.
He is survived by: his sons, Rickey Perkey of Cave City, Gary Perkey of Cave City, Alvin Perkey of Cave City and Nathan Perkey of Cave City; and his sisters, Betty Spehr of Lansing and Lisa Abernathy (Howard) of Cave City. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
