Ruby Vanhoozer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Vanhoozer of Cash, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruby Vanhoozer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Simpson and Eva Simpson (McGowan); her husband Trannie Vanhoozer; her sons, Richard Merritt, Dean Merritt and Wayne Dobbs; her granddaughter Jennifer Shipman; and her siblings, R. E. Simpson, Charlotte Simpson, Maryann Simpson, Luciel Rucker and Cora Mae Merritt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammie Fowler (Brian) and Virginia Bishop; and her sisters, Mary Foley and Fay Vanhoozer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
