He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Priest and Ruth Priest (Simmons); and his siblings, John L Priest, Riley Priest, Leon Priest, Juanita Bryant, Mary Ashford and Helen Pate.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Priest; his children, Barry Priest (LeeAnn), Pam Woodard (Jim), Jackie Smythe (Charles) and Devan Priest; and his grandchildren, Jill Dement (Blake), Nathan Tate and Sarah Ellis (Hayden). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Redd Cemetery and Cash Assembly of God Church.
