He was predeceased by: his father Herman Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Jodi" Thompson of Carlisle, Arkansas; his children, Patricia Thompson of Springfield, Georgia, Tanya Angew of Carlisle, Arkansas, Emily Karr (Michael) of Stuttgart, James Wood of Stuttgart and Josh Vest (Lisa) of Kirkland; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Ayla, Julian, Thomas, Jonathan, Denver, James, Samuel and Everliegh; and his brothers, Tracy Hamilton (Jackie) of Alabama, James Hamilton (Ellen) of Benton, Tom Hamilton (Joy) of Florida and Tim Thompson (Lauren) of Missouri. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
