He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fleenor Parris; his daughters, Jan Parris Rivers and Dee Parris Plummer; his grandchildren, Justin Varnadore, Jana Collins, Robyn Hogue and Autumn McGaugh; and his sister Floy Moody. He is also survived by 3 step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
