We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 89, Minnie Jasso Dempsey of Carlisle, Arkansas, born in Austin, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fermin Jasso and Martha Martinez Jasso; her husband Lonnie Dempsey; her daughter Tina Crocker; and her grandsons, Benny Ray Kuykendall, Jr. and William Taft Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Dempsey (Mary Kay) of DeWitt, Freddie Garcia (Shelly) of Sherrill, Jessie Jasso (Jean) of Cleveland, AR, Dellia Kuykendall (Benny) of Carlisle, Judy Daughtery of Harrison, Barbara Scroggins (Henry) of Rison and Lucy Cockrell (David) of White Hall; and her brother Joe Jasso (Carolyn) of Sheridan. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Flat Bayou Cemetery Association, 3808 North Gilliand Rd., Altheimer, AR 72004.
