With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred G Hughes of Carlisle, Arkansas, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Hunt and Clara Hunt; her brothers, Arthur and H. E. Hunt; her former husband Thomas Chance; her children, Glenda Chance-Moudy, Glen, Patty Chance and Bertie Chance; and her stepson Stephen Hughes.
She is survived by: her sister Vela Hodkin; her nephew Patrick Hodkin; her children, Curt Chance, Jimmy Chance (Regina), Shannon Bray (Aaron), Melissa Chance (Dawn Smith) and Steve Moudy; her stepchildren, Amanda Hughes (Mark), Sandy Adams (Tony) and Tim Hughes (Shannon); her grandchildren, Ashley (Zac), Hannah (David), Angel (Donnie), Kaden, Karson, Zack, Amber, Elizabeth, Alex, Hunter, Marina and Stacy; and her great grandchildren, Connor, Riley, Emery, Maisie, Emilia and Robert.
