She was loved and cherished by many people including: her former husbands, Merley D. Bowlan and Leon Vaught; her children, Daniel Bowlan (Jenny) of Carlisle, Mike Bowlan (Lavel) of Carlisle and Anita Castleberry (Bronson) of Austin; and her siblings, Clarence Underwood (Dorothy) of Conway, Lewis Underwood (Betty) of Carlisle and Fran England (David) of Dixon, TN.. She was also cherished by three step-children, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
