He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Davis; and his brother Bennie J. Davis. He is survived by: his children, Doug Davis (Carolyn) and Jenny Parker (Mike); his grandchildren, Paula, Jennifer and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Clara, Connor and Emmett (Sandra Perkins).
