We bid farewell to Donald Ray Kilgore of Carlisle, Arkansas, born in England, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Donald Ray touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his mother Emogene Hankins Kilgore; his brother Jerry Kilgore; his father Vernon J. Kilgore; and his nephew Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Marie Kittler Kilgore of Carlisle; his children, John David Kilgore of Dallas, Texas, Jill R. Kilgore Caviness (Jason) of Hazen and Jerry A. Kilgore (Courtney) of Carlisle; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Kilgore, Carson Kilgore, Keller Kilgore, Luke Caviness and Lily Caviness; his sister Jeannie Kilgore (Steve Inmon) of Sherwood; and his nephew Scot. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carlisle Cemetery (729 Raborn Rd, Carlisle, AR 72024).
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests memorials be made to New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 8525 New Bethel Rd., Hazen, Arkansas 72064.
