He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Lake Sr. and Bobby Hefenbrock; his stepmother Velma Lake; and his son Joseph Lake. He is survived by: his wife Joan Lake; his children, Sheila Cardinal (Steve), Valarie Rennie and Billy W. Lake (Stacie); and his siblings, Randy Lake (Rayetta), Michael Lake and Carole Jane Herron. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
