He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie John and Durene Inez McIver Meurer; his daughter Sheila Renae Meurer; and his brother Bill Meurer. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie; his children, Lesley Meurer of Caraway, Bobby Utley of Caraway, Bradley Meurer (Traci) of Lake City, Arkansas, Gayla Anderson (Jerry) of Lake City and Pam Meurer (Mel) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and his sister Barbara Ann Willard of Senatobia, Mississippi.
