It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dunkerson of Caraway, Arkansas, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Dunkerson and Delois Dunkerson; his wife Shirley Jo Dunkerson; and his siblings, Gouilda Hurst and Dennis Dunkerson.

He is survived by: his brother Jerry Dunkerson (Chiyoko) of Caraway, Arkansas; his sons, James Dunkerson (Shonna) of Meridian, Darren Dunkerson (Lee Anne) of Lubbock and Jarrett Dunkerson (Christina) of Caraway, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Ronald Dunkerson, Jessica Bonner, Dylan Dunkerson, Chelsea Gaines, Cullen Dunkerson, Danielle Spellich, Logan Dunkerson, Alexandria Hopson and Aiden Tucker; and his great grandchildren, Ani Dunkerson, Corvin Dunkerson, Quinn Dunkerson, Cayden Wade, Amberly Gaines, Lily Gaines, Braiden Dunkerson, Ryleigh Dunkerson, Jonah Dunkerson and Dakotah Dunkerson.
