Glenna Faye Brickell Obituary
Glenna Faye Brickell, 83, of Caraway, Arkansas, passed away on May 23, 2023 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born on November 11, 1939 in Caraway, Arkansas, to Alston and Margaret Whitley Fletcher. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ and loved reading her Bible and worshiping with the Caraway congregation. Glenna graduated from Caraway High School in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart, Charles Wayne Brickell, that same year. She loved her grandchildren and would follow them to all their ball games. She was an animal lover and would feed all the strays and she, also, enjoyed gardening, sewing, and canning.
Survivors include; one daughter: Cindy Easley (Bruce) of Osceola, Arkansas; one son: Mike Brickell (Rene) of Caraway, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Jeremy Williams, Dr. Anna Brickell-Mann (Matthew), Abby Brickell (Harrison Knox), Amanda Etter (Justin), Blake Easley (Ellie), and Jennifer Rogers; six great-grandchildren: Madalyn Easley, Ben Easley, Caroline Etter, Jack Etter, Ryan Etter, and Lauren Rogers; one sister-in-law: Mary Branscum (Danny) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one brother-in-law: Danny Brickell (Sandy) of Sikeston, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by; her husband: Charles Wayne Brickell; her parents: Alston and Margaret Fletcher; and one brother: Lawrence Wayne Fletcher.
Pallbearers: Don Fletcher, Eric Branscum, Justin Etter, Blake Easley, Jeremy Williams, and Bryson Branscum.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Caraway Church of Christ with Greg Groves officiating and the song leader will be Eddie Wiggs. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday at the church from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
