Charles Leslie Whitaker Obituary
Charles Leslie Whitaker, 79, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away at St. Bernards Medical Center on February 25, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1945 in Helena, Arkansas to Troy Whitaker and Ruby (Whaley) Whitaker. Charles was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas. He was a pharmacist for 50 years and 27 of those years were in Caraway. He enjoyed watching movies, going out to eat, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include; wife of 58 years: Gwen Whitaker of the home; three children: David Whitaker (April) of Blytheville, Arkansas, Teresa Lowery of Caraway, Arkansas, Jeff Whitaker (Deanndra) of Caraway, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Christine Whitaker, Nick Whitaker, Conner Whitaker, D.J. Whitaker, Talon Lowery, Ireland Lowery, Alek Whitaker, Ian Whitaker, Keaton Whitaker, Londyn Whitaker; one sister: Mary Ann Marsden (Joe) of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Jimmie Whitaker (Becky) of Osceola, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Troy Whitaker and Ruby (Whaley) Whitaker.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas with Rev. Joe Marsden officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
