Arthur Shelby Davis Obituary

Arthur Shelby Davis, 80, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away at his home on November 5, 2023. He was born on November 11, 1942 in Lake City, Arkansas to Everett Davis and Jewell "Mohe" (Timms) Davis. Shelby was an avid mason who brick laid for over 60+ years. He enjoyed watching old westerns, working in the flower garden, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include; his wife: Levetta Davis of the home; one son: Mitchell Davis (Debbie) of Lake City, Arkansas; three stepchildren: Randy Field of Florissant, Missouri, Kimber Turpin of Illinois, Dee Tuttle of Illinois; two brothers: Cleo Davis (Betty) of Viola, Arkansas and Doug Davis (Judy) of Salem, Arkansas; four sisters: Patsy Riley (Donald) of Lake City, Arkansas, Rosetta McCann (Jack) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jenny Lingenfelter of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Theresa Pace (Terry) of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Pat Armstrong (Scott) of Bay, Arkansas and Johnnie Williams of Caraway, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law: Donnie Williams of Caraway, Arkansas and Jerry Williams of West Helena, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by; his parents: Everett Davis and Jewell "Mohe" (Timms) Davis; one son: Dallas Davis; one daughter: Jacque "Marsha" Tolewitzke; and three siblings: Ruby Lee Davis, Terry Davis, and Annie Wisham.

The family has requested private services at Pine Log Cemetery.
