With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Victor Lamar Newton of Camden, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Billy R. Johnson; and his grandparents, Wilson, Mabelline Johnson, Raymond, Christine Newton, Johnny Lee and Georgia Lee Bradley.
He is survived by: his mother Tereta Newton Johnson; his wife Angela Newton; his son Tyrese Lamar Newton of Camden, AR.; his sister Kari Lynn Williams of Camden, AR; his sons, Dexter McRae (Kendra) of Texas and Defonte Lowe (Shantel) of Arkadelphia, AR; and also Miesha Smith of Locust Bayou, AR. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
