With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Gene Raney of Camden, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ronald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Berryhill and Medford Raney; and his brother Donald Max Raney. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Raney; his siblings-in-law, Nicki Taylor (Donnell) and Bill Cox (Ann); and his children, Steve Raney (Pam) of Cape Girardeau, Rodney Raney (Kari) of Malvern, Ronnie Raney (Maria), Marty Billingsley (Melissa) of Camden and Jo Shannon Barkley (Kevin) of Columbia City, Indiana. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cullendale Assembly of God (3250 Cash Rd SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
