He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Peace and Earnestine Peace; his spouse Zettie Lanell Strange; and his son-in-law John Pipkin. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Pipkin, Randy Peace and Ben Peace; his grandchildren, Ashley Castleberry (Stephen), Ryan Pipkin (Christa), Taylor Gruber (Jameson), Carli Coalter (Conner) and Brandt Peace; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Jack, Lucy Castleberry, Landree and Maisy Pipkin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
