He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Noah Pierce and Ellen McClellan Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie; and his children, Rendi Currey (Brett), Mackie Pierce (Renee), Nick Pierce (Pam) and Dana Pierce (Jennie). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 was Max's favorite charity.
