She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton VanMeter and Jessie Earlene Vaden VanMeter; and her husband Tom Gilchrist. She is survived by: her daughter Leslie Gilchrist of Camden, AR; and her sister Suzanne Walker (Tommy) of Irving, TX. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fellowship Hall at First Baptist Church. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (827 Waco St SW, Camden, AR 71701).
