He was predeceased by: his son David Elliott; his brothers, James, Wyley and George; his mother Adele Matthews; his stepfather Newton Matthews; his father George Elliott; and his stepmother Clidell Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Elliott; his son Mike Elliott; his grandchildren, Lance, Zack Elliott, Madison Elliott, Bentley and Harley Elliott; and his brothers, Bobby Matthews of Camden and Billy Bob Elliott of Texas.
