John Curb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Curb of Camden, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 7, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas and Clara Curb; his wife Mattie Mae Curb; his son John Thomas Curb, Jr.; and his brothers, Calvin Hemitt and George Curb.
He is survived by: his son Tavoris Curb; his granddaughters, Jasmine Curb, Taniya Flowers and Tavaria Curb; and his goddaughters, Mechelle Purifoy and Clarissa Purifoy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Haven Baptist Church (336 Stewart St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
