She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Anderson and Nancy Anderson (Garner); her siblings, Van, Hugh, Mae, Inez, Sam, Jack, Gladys, Bill, Nancy and Floy; her husband James Merritt; and her son Dennis Merritt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Sanders (Richard) of Camden and Jamie Sims (Chris) of Camden; her daughter-in-law Cindy Merritt Roach (Keith) of New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Shannon Sanders (Sylvia Blain), Cory Sanders (Jenny), Jenny Merritt, Sam Merritt and Brett Sims; her great grandchildren, Audrey and Anna Sanders; and her grandchildren, Tiffany Sims, Kyndalin, Kaison, Tyler Sims (Chelsea), Nixon, Destini, Gabe, Benjamin and Nicholas Blain.
