It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cloys Burris of Camden, Arkansas, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Burris and Loistene Burris; and his siblings, Floyd E. Burris, Lorenzo Burris and Cynthia F. Burris.

He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Burris of Camden; his children, Carlos Burris (April Caldwell) of Denton, TX, Christyl Miller (Joey Miller) of Chidester, AR and Brandon Burris (Demetra McDaniels) of Powder Spring, GA.; his siblings, Cedric Burris of Camden, AR, Mary Jenkins of Little Rock, AR, Paula Johnson of Camden, AR, Shirley Gilmore of Little Rock, AR and Anita Coston of Albany, GA.; and his close friend Ralph Harrison. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
