He was predeceased by : his parents, R. T. Ross and Oda Mae Criner Ross; his son AJ Ross Body (Glass); his siblings, Gary Ross, Fredrick Ross, Roy Ross, Eva Ross and Sarah Davis; his son Arthur Ross (AJ); and his grandson Mboya Marks.

He is survived by : his former life partner Elder Regina Stith; his children, Christie Hogan, Frenchie McMillion (Jarred), Ka'Portia Ross (Javante) and Joseph Ross; his siblings, Robert Ross (Minister Angela), Dennis Ross, Alfred Smith, Shirley Ross, Sharon Smith Coleman (Richard) and Pamela Cherry (Ronald); his stepmother Rose Sutton Ross; his sister-in-law Wanda Ross; and his grandchildren, Jadhyne Hogan, Taylor Hogan, Tyler Hogan, Ayana Marks, Khamrhyn Williams, Karey Williams, Jada McMillion, Kaiden McMillion and Kason McMillion. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Proctor Funeral Home (442 Jefferson St SW, Camden, AR 71701). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
