He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nelson; his mother Mary Alice Cottrell Nelson; his brother Greg Nelson (Mary); his children, Dory Ann Nelson Thornton, Dara Nicole Nelson Tapley, Danika Danielle Nelson, Danae Nelson Ramier and Daryl Rockfield Nelson, II; and his grandchildren, Brayden Chase Fisher, Ashton Shanaenae and Carley Tapley.
