He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Hamby and Louanna Sexton Hamby; his wife Annabelle Hankins; his brothers, Oscar Woodrow Hamby, Junius "June" Hamby and Gerald Hamby; and his half-sister Edna Pinkston.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Hamby of Bedford, LeAnn Hamby of San Antonio, Mike Richardson of Calico Rock and Debbie Kundurt of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, Tom Hamby (Lanell) of Calico Rock and Thelma Lee Kimberlin of Calico Rock. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
