He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lindel, Lora Bell Barnes, Carroll Hiles and Mildred Neff. He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Carroll Hiles and Mary Lee Barnes Hiles of Brockwell; his sons, Kyle Anthony Traversie and Carter Dewayne Hiles of Calico Rock; the parent of his children Mellisa Traversie of Calico Rock; his siblings, Denise Jones (Steve) of Melbourne, Richard Lee Hiles (Jennette) of Wideman and Brandon Carroll Hiles of Brockwell; his granddaughter Natalie Nicole Gleason of Bentonville; and also Timothy Traversie of Illinois. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Calico Rock Museum and Visitor Center, 105 Main Street, Calico Rock, Arkansas.
