It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramona Jones Townsend of Calico Rock, Arkansas, born in Wideman, Arkansas, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doss Alvin Jones and Margaret Jane Martin Jones; her spouse Dale Townsend; her son David Lamar Townsend; and her siblings, Melba Shipley, Gamelliel Jones, Gerald Jones and Morris Jones.
She is survived by: her son Winston; her daughter-in-law Cindy Townsend of Gorby; and her grandchildren, Matthew Townsend, Casey Townsend, David Lynn Townsend and Tina Bales. She is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
