She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lester and Eva Novella Whiteaker Lester; her daughter Karen Copeland; and her siblings, Almus Smith, Eldon Lester, Earlene Smith, Lola Wilson, Grace and Edna Preciado.
She is survived by: her son Jim Cockerel of Calico Rock; her sisters, Mary Belle Hagapian of Massachusetts, Gladys Mayfield (George) of Calico Rock and Shirley Lancaster (Glen) of Mountain View; her granddaughter Lacy Wallace of Gainesville, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Essence Wallace and D'an Wallace; and her great great grandchild Hinata May Greganti. She is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
