He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ernest Branscum and Beulah Bagwell Branscum; his son Leelenn Ray Branscum (Misty) of Pineville; and his siblings, Bud, Carl, Arvey C, Harvey D, Leffel, Lewie, Buster Branscum, Zella Cox, Jarlene Chism and Mary Phifer.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Branscum; his children, Lenn Branscum (Loretta) of Culp, Buster Branscum (Kary) of Culp and Melissa Thomas (Greg) of Mountain View; and his grandchildren, Heath Branscum (Tanya), Marshall Branscum (Ashley), Dalton Branscum (Kenzie), Colton Branscum, Kevin Branscum (Caroline), Andrew Branscum, Morgan Branscum, Laiken Branscum, Jesse Branscum, Kylie Branscum, Alisa Obletz, Whit Branscum, Ryker Branscum and Alex Branscum. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
