With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Woodrow Cook of Calico Rock, Arkansas, born in Batesville, Arkansas, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Walter Cook and Irene Humphries Cook; his wife Mablean Cook; and his brother-in-law Noel Jeffery. He is survived by: his sons, Clifton Cook (Lori) of Hot Springs, Brandon Cook (Crystal) of Montgomery and Derrick Cook (Sandra) of Calico Rock; his sisters, Linda Jeffery of Morrilton and Sylvia Engles (Troy Junior) of Dardanelle; his grandchildren, Erin Akers (Seth), Ethan Cook, Courtney Robison (Dalton), Cory Cook (Heather), Camryn Cook, Caitlin Williams (Hayden) and Kerrigan Cook; his stepgrandchildren, Matthew Turgeon, Kyle Turgeon, Rachel Moore and Jacob Turgeon; and his great grandchildren, Kaidence Cook, Case Lee Cook, Kenton Branscum, Collins Branscum, Jocelyn Williams, Braxton Williams, Harper Robison and Peyton Bridges. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
