It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Ray Franks of Calico Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Winford "Sock" Franks and Estha Mae Curtis Franks; his brother Bill Franks; and his nephew Rusty Franks. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Franks; his children, Billy Bob Franks (Jessica) of Calico Rock, Holly Edwards (Eric) of Damascus and Jennifer Britt (Jamie) of Cabot; his siblings, Connie Whiteaker (Jeff) of Calico Rock, Bonnie Franks of Calico Rock and Tom Franks of Calico Rock; his grandchildren, Ty Franks, Payton Franks, Levi Roof, Dillon Thornley (Maddie), Ella Thornley, Destiny Britt and Devyn Britt; his great grandchildren, Atlas Thornley, Cora Roof and Avery Hooper; and his nieces and nephews, Shannon Scott, Tyler Whiteaker and Samantha Franks. He is also survived by other relatives and many good friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eddie's Family Funeral Home (2206 AR-56, Calico Rock, AR 72519). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
