With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Earl Smith Sr. of Cabot, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on February 22, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Bixby Smith and Myrtle Buna Smith (Polk); his former wife Mary Carol Smith (Haley); and his sister Alma Becknell of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Virgilia Batausa Smith; his children, Kimberly Smith-Britten, Sandra Jean Smith, Scott Allen Smith, Michael Lee Smith and Wayne Earl Smith Jr.; and his brother Jimmy Lee Smith.
The family asks that memorial donations be made in Wayne's name to either First Baptist Church in Arkansas or to the American Legion.
