He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Verdie Edward Meharg, Sr. and Opal Dean Whitehurst Meharg; his wife Janice Stephens Meharg; his children, Edward Meharg III, Scott Meharg (Allison) and Renee King (Christopher); his grandchildren, Haydn, Hunter King, Claire and Natalie Meharg; and his siblings-in-law, Gail Moran and Jerry Stephens (Lil). He was also cherished by many extended family members and friends.
