He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Shirley and Floy Owens Shirley; and his son Kevin Alan. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Shirley (Eikamp); his children, Stephen Anthony (Karin) and Cylinda Nickel (John); his grandchildren, Kaylin Dye (Jordan), Kristen Mast (Michael), Megan Fowler (Logan), Seanna Denmark (McGwire) and Emma Nickel; his great grandchildren, Loyal Dye, Elowynn and Ivy Mae Mast; and his siblings, Mary Brady, Sylvia Gladen and Ken Shirley.
