It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Benton Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas, born in Honey Grove, Texas, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Larry Benton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry Benton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Shelby Jean Johnson (Moore); his parents, James Fred Johnson and Maude Johnson (Waters); and his siblings, James L. Johnson, Obenetta Wice and Wanda Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Johnson and John (Susan); and his grandson Matthew.
