He was predeceased by: his father Royce Darel Agerton; his sister Renee Steelmon; and his grandparents, Gray, Effe Trull, Luther Agerton and Gertrude Barnes-Gann.
He is survived by: his wife Sheri Agerton; his mother Margaret Hodges; his stepmother Ruth Agerton; his daughters, Emily Gusewelle (Josh), Megan Smith (Dustin) and Lindsey Talbert (Sean); and his stepdaughters, Abbigail Patterson (Chris) and Emilee Patterson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jimmy's name to the Vilonia Athletics Department, located in the Central Office Building.
