With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeannie George of Cabot, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Jeannie departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jeannie. Though Jeannie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Smith and Nettie Smith (Harper); her husband Tommy Lee George, Sr.; her granddaughter Rebecca Gonzales; and her siblings, Dan Smith, Jr. and Geraldine Rains.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Lee George, Jr. (Janice) of Collegeville, Pennsylvania and Stacy Lee Headley (Stephen) of Cabot; her grandchildren, Daniel Roberts (Heather) of Tuckerman, Angela Thigpen of Alexandria and Nicole Lepisto (Joseph) of Lititz, Pennsylvania; and her close friends, Pat and Marcelene. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112).
