He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Tom, Nora Gordon, Vernon and Ruby Toney; his parents, Carolyn Toney, and Howard Vance Toney, Sr.; and his brother Terrell Lee Toney (Terry).

He is survived by: his pet Bonnie; his children, Sarah and Jarod Toney; his brother Howard Vance Toney, Jr. (Michelle Lewis); his sister-in-law Dena Toney (Donnie); and his nephews, Patrick (Ashley), Jacob, Tyler and Trent Toney. He is also survived by two great-nephews and one great-niece; as well as extended family members and friends.
