She was predeceased by: her parents, Imon Thornton and Selma Lily Thornton (Cole); the father of her children Elmer Lewis "Nig" Mahoney, Jr.; her children, Beverly Lorraine and Timothy Lynn; her granddaughter Jaime Lorraine Hicks (Shepherd); her brothers, Bill Thornton and Doyne Thornton; and her husband Ralph.
She is survived by: her daughters, Candace Shepherd (Sam) of Cabot, AR and Carmen Culbertson (Ed) of Allen, TX.; her grandchildren, Scott Hicks and Carmen "Caite" Hall (James) of Cabot; her great grandchildren, Matthew Hicks (Emma) of Greenbrier, AR, Allison Potter (Zach) of Cabot, Natalie of Cabot and Alexander Hall of Cabot; and her great great grandchild Maddox Potter of Cabot.
