He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee Vann and Hazel Roberta Vann (Douglas); his former wife Charlotte Ann Vann; his wife Helen Faye Vann; his grandson Gary Dick Jr.; and his brother Ronald Vann.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Vann (Brandi) and Donna Dick (Gary); his grandchildren, Jessie Dick, Jackie Dick and Tie Vann (Amanda); his great grandchildren, Jackson Martin, Ava Martin and Cash Vann; and his siblings, Mary Jo Morrow, Ray Vann and Fay Driskill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
